Fan of start-ups, sustainability and everything online. Contagious enthusiasm is the best there is. I prefer no two days to be the same. I want to tweet, create video’s and write blogs, but also think, plan andanalyse strategically.
Hi, I’m Wendy. An enthusiastic Communications graduate from The Netherlands with a great passion for taking the comms of small organisations to the next level. I want to make an impact, within an organisation and in the world. It’s important to me that the work that I actually really matters. Around me I like to gather people with the same mentality, so we can motivate and inspire each other.
For the past four years, I have been studying comms and working part-time in the field. I have experience at two innovative start-ups (one in public space and one in fashion) and at a small software company. At all of these companies, I was the only comms specialist which means that I am used to taking initiative and to seeing things through. I enjoy getting input from different departments by guiding brainstorms on how we can improve. I believe that every department has a unique view of the target audience and that we can get the most inclusive view by having regular conversations with each department.
From this little paragraph it might seem that all I think about is work! Outside of the office, I like to play games, cook and bake, read and spend time with friends and family. I am always up for new experiences, discovering the best coffee places or just a drink at the local pub.
